Tech leads and senior ICs
Lead complex technical work, align across teams, grow your influence, and pursue advancement without giving up the hands-on work you care about.
I coach tech leads, senior ICs, and emerging engineering leaders who are navigating AI-driven change, growing scope, burnout, and the pressure to deliver more with less.
The pressure is real
When everything keeps shifting, it's easy to blame yourself for feeling exhausted or unsure. Most of the time, it just means you need a clearer way of working, and some room to figure out what actually matters.
Who I coach
This is for anyone who wants more scope and influence, and a clearer picture on how to get there. You do not need to be on a people-management path for your leadership to matter.
Lead complex technical work, align across teams, grow your influence, and pursue advancement without giving up the hands-on work you care about.
Build the judgment to lead people well: setting direction, developing others, and handling the hard conversations that come with the job.
What we can work on
We work on the leadership challenges you're facing right now, and on the systems and habits that make this kind of work easier to keep doing.
Identify the strengths, scope, and opportunities that support your next level—and build a credible path toward promotion.
Cut through noise, find the real constraints, and create enough clarity for your team or stakeholders to move forward.
Communicate your point of view, build alignment, and handle the conversations that shape trust and execution.
Examine the pressure you are carrying, set healthier boundaries, and build a way of leading that does not depend on overextending yourself.
What makes this different
I will not hand you a generic leadership playbook. We use your real work, your organization, and your ambitions as the material for the coaching.
We name what you already do well, where it creates leverage, and how to make that contribution visible to the people who shape your growth.
We look at incentives and team dynamics too, so you stop blaming yourself for problems that were never yours alone to fix.
Bring the meeting, promotion conversation, decision, or team challenge that is happening now. Our work should be useful before the next session.
What this is—and is not: Coaching is a personalized partnership for working through real leadership challenges. It is not a generic course, a performance review, or a promise of a promotion.
About Seetha
I’m an engineering leader with experience across startups and large organizations, including Amazon Lab126 and Cash App at Block. At Cash App, I led accessibility across the product and core mobile surfaces that touched more than 54 million customers. I have led large engineering teams and supported engineers as they developed from junior contributors to staff-level leaders.
My work sits at the intersection of people growth, strong execution, and systems thinking. I'm good at spotting the strengths and opportunities that help someone expand their scope, build a stronger promotion case, and lead more intentionally.
My coaching is practical and honest. We will work through the hard parts, but still find clear ways to move forward.
What I'm about
These are the commitments I bring to every engagement—how I show up, and what I ask of the relationship in return.
I value transparency and will always seek to be direct—offering feedback in service of your growth rather than glossing over what needs to be said.
I appreciate feedback on what's working and what isn't, and want to understand your working style so I can adapt to it.
I try to stay in a growth mindset about my own learning—whether that's coaching technique or the latest developments in AI—and enjoy working with people who share that same curiosity.
I don't focus on external work without spending time on inner work—for me, that's yoga, meditation, and time in nature. A lot of what I share comes from what's actually helped me build a healthier relationship with work.
In their words
These are engineers I led and coached at Cash App.
She goes out of her way to find opportunities for each of her teammates to learn, grow, and lead, unique to their goals and ambitions. She operates with high trust, allowing engineers to level up, while providing support where needed along the way. I could always count on Seetha for honesty, candor, and having my best interest in mind. I would jump at the opportunity to work with her again, and she is an immense asset to any organization.
I wouldn't be nearly as much of the engineer I am today without the chance to work with Seetha over those years.
She is an exceptional career coach who ensures every engineer is a strong owner of their work. It's no surprise that her team was recognized as one of the top-performing teams at Cash App in 2025.
